Established in 1997, the Black Russian Terrier Club of America. (BRTCA) is the American Kennel Club Member parent club that represents the Black Russian Terrier (BRT) breed under the AKC
in the United States of America. The BRTCA is committed to the stewardship of the Black Russian Terrier by encouraging quality in breeding, education, ethical responsibility, and maintaining the breed's natural working dog qualities. BRTCA conducts matches, specialty show events, temperament tests, health testing, judge and owner mentoring, and other events to further the understanding, knowledge and protection of the Black Russian Terrier. Courteous and professional communication and sportsmanlike conduct is expected of all BRT fanciers.
