Black Russian Terrier Club of America

The BRTCA Rescue/Placement Service exists to place stray or abandoned BRTs in adoptive homes which will provide a high level of care and where the spirit of the BRTCA Code of Ethics is observed.  The Rescue/Placement Service may assist BRT owners, who for any reason can no longer provide a home for their BRT.

Do you need assistance re-homing your BRT?

VOLUNTEER

The BRTCA is in need of help from volunteers to assist in evaluation temperament, transportation and fostering our rescue BRTs.  If you can help in any way, contact the BRTCA rescue coordinator,  Diana Evans at angel70049aol.com.  If you can volunteer your time, money, and/or kennel space please let us know.  If you are aware of any BRT that needs to be rescued, please let us know.

You can assist the BRTCA with rescue efforts by making contact with your local animal shelter by making them aware of the Black Russian Terrier and by listing yourself as a contact if any BRTs come into the shelter.

ADOPT

Please be aware that it is usually not the cute little puppy that comes into our rescue program.  If you are interested in adopting a needy BRT, please first read the section on BRT Information so that you can become familiar with the unique characteristics of the breed.  If you feel that you are capable of adopting a Black Russian terrier please send a e-mail to [email protected] and you will be contacted to fill out family profile.
