Health Information

The BRTCA has now set up certification process with the Canine Health Information Center in conjunction with the OFA.  Test required for CHIC certificate are Hips, Elbows, Heart and Eyes.  CHIC certification does not mean that the dogs have passed all tests, but does indicate that the tests have been performed and that the results are public. When purchasing a puppy the BRTCA recommends that you purchase your new puppy from a breeder who has done the proper testing and who’s results are published for public viewing.
